About Plane Spotters Club
Friendly logbooks and UK spotting resources — from someone who's loved aircraft their whole life, from the fence to the cockpit.
Spotting is for everyone
Plane Spotters Club started with a simple belief: watching aircraft is one of the best days out a family can have — and everyone, from a first-timer to a lifelong enthusiast, deserves a friendly place to start. We make clear, printable logbook sheets and checklists, publish a paperback log book, and gather the UK resources that make spotting easier and more fun.
What we do
- Printable downloads — logbook sheets, checklists and trackers you print at home, on Payhip.
- The Ultimate Plane Spotters Log Book — our paperback, with room for 3,400 entries, published by GingerAlf and available on Amazon.
- Free guides — a UK airport spotting guide, an airshow calendar, tracking apps and channels & groups to follow.
Made by a lifelong aviation fan
That's me in the photo above — flying in the back of the two-seat Supermarine Spitfire NH341 “Elizabeth” (DB-E) over the English countryside, in a photo taken by my wife. Aircraft have been a passion my whole life, from standing at the airport fence with a notebook to the cockpit of a piece of living history. Plane Spotters Club grew straight out of that love of flight.
So everything here is made by someone who genuinely does this — the sheets are tested on real spotting days, and the guides are kept practical and honest. If it wouldn't help me at the fence, it doesn't go on the site.
